September Lunch & Learn

The Parent Research Institute for Drug Education is a national survey that collects data on adolescent substance use and mental health. This survey has been conducted by the Mental Health Association in our region since 1990; it gives an inside look at areas of concerns for students in 6th to 12th grade.

In this presentation, Renee Norden and Bridget Downey will cover key findings of the survey conducted in October 2023, such as when and where youth are using; perceptions of risk; feelings of personal safety; and rates of anxiety, depression and suicide ideation.

We will provide guidance about what we can do collectively to address these concerns in our homes, schools, and community.
